Doctors
Dr Maurice Brennan
Dr Maurice Brennan graduated from University College Dublin in 1962 and initially trained in the Mater Hospital. After working for 3 years doing hospital medicine in Nottingham, Maurice returned to St Vincent’s where he worked for 15 years. He has a special interest in Rheumatology.
Dr Dympna Frawley
Dr Dympna Frawley graduated from University College Dublin in 1967 and initially trained in the Mater and also worked in Temple Street Hospital. Dympna has special interests in Paediatrics and Women’s Health.
Dr Roisin Lyons
Dr Roisin Lyons graduated from University College Dublin in 2000. Roisin interned in St. Vincent’s University Hospital in the Renal, Respiratory and General Surgery departments. She also worked as a Registrar in Emergency Medicine at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital and a Registrar of Psychiatry in St Patricks Hospital. She has specialist interest in Medicine for the Elderly, Family Planning, and Palliative Medicine.
Dr Owen Carey
Dr Carey graduated in 1975 and completed his training in Medicine at the Mater, James Connolly Hospital and St James Hospital. Owen went on to train in Paediatrics in Our Lady’s Hospital in Crumlin and Psychiatry at St Brendan’s Hospital. He has been in full-time General Practice since 1983 and is a founder member of the Irish College of General Practitioners and serves on its Council and Executive. Dr Carey’s main interests are in the area of Medical Research and Medical ethics.
Nurse
Nurse Dalia Sankuniene
Dalia completed her training as a General Practice nurse in Lithuania. Dalia spent over 13 years working as a nurse in hospitals followed by three years working as a practice nurse. She joined the Phoenix Medical team in August 2010.
