24 HR Blood Pressure Monitor
This gives a recording of your blood pressure over a 24 hour period allowing your doctor to get a more accurate assessment of your blood pressure.

Antenatal Care
We are part of the HSE’s Combined Care Scheme which entitles women to ante-natal visits and post natal visits to check their health and their baby’s at our surgery. Care is shared between the GP and the maternity hospital of choice.

Blood Tests
These take place on Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 8.30 - 10.30 by our Practice Nurse Dalia which are sent by courier to the Mater Hospital. Please remember to fast 12 - 14 hours prior to your appointment if advised to do so. We securely download the results from the hospital website into your patient file.

Cervical Smear Tests
These are available FREE for eligible women between the ages of 25 and 60. To register for your free smear test please ring Cervical Check on 1800 45 45 55 or register online at www.cervicalcheck.ie. Upon receipt of a letter from Cervical Check, you can then avail of this service at Phoenix Medical. Please ring us to make an appointment.

We are approved by the HSE to administer all childhood primary vaccinations.

We provide contraception advice and prescriptions for The Pill and Depo-provera.

Gardasil Vaccination - Cervical Cancer vaccinations
A course of 3 vaccinations over 6 months is recommended for girls/women aged between 9 and 26 to prevent Cervical Cancer and HPV infections. We have negotiated a significant discount for this vaccine.

We offer a comprehensive pre-travel health check, vaccination and travel advice service. Phoenix Medical is a registered Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre.

Mental Healthcare Services – provided by Imagine Health
Imagine Health provides counselling and psychological services from this clinic. Our mental healthcare professionals are available to meet with you in this clinic and provide you with coping skills and strategies to impact positively in your day-to-day life. Our professionals are also available to assess, diagnose and treat family members that may benefit from such intervention. Physiotherapy service
We are pleased to announce that we have recently partnered with The Physio Company, Chartered Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinics to provide a wide range of high quality chartered physiotherapy services in Phoenix Medical.

The Physio Company’s team of fully Chartered Physiotherapists will help you recover faster and minimise your chance of re-injury. They offer a range of services including effective treatment for back & neck pain, sports injuries, cervical & stress headaches, repetitive strain injuries, joint pain and postural disorders, dry needling, complimentary therapy, taping, deep tissue massage and sports massage. Orthotic assessments are also available in our Temple Bar, IFSC, Barrow, Ranelagh and Raheny clinics.

Podiatry Service

Justin Blake is now providing the podiatry service in Phoenix Medical. Justin has a particular interest in running, postural and lower back problems. He successfully treats sportsmen and women from recreational to professional athletes, including: runners, gaelic players, hurlers, footballers, rugby players, golfers, athletes, cyclists, dancers, skaters and members of the Irish Army.

We offer a wide range of services  for:
